In the past 4 months I have had two friends who choose not to offer up the fact that they had to declare BK (one in 2008 and the other in 2010). The company's never asked and the job applications never asked, offers made and after the background checks they were told the offers were no longer valid.
I guess companies are really being intense about checking credit reports and BK's. So sad both of these folks lost their jobs because their company's declared BK (and yet those companies are now making profits and got a 2nd chance) and they were let go because of it and now they are being denied a 2nd chance... It makes me so darn mad and its so unfair
